As humans, we go through a lot.
Our Body, Mind, and Soul will encounter a great range of experiences while living on this earth. Life is a different experience for each of us. One thing we can rely on as a collective, however, is the constant change that shows up in this life. A wonderful teacher named T.K.V. Desikachar says, "all change is Yoga." Maybe you can relate to some of these qualities below. Perhaps you observe yourself experiencing something in-between on the wide spectrum of human feeling. Perhaps you notice these qualities showing up in your life coming and going like the tide of the ocean:

Private sessions may be an opportunity for you to be in question with what is arising in your body, your mind, your community, your life. I aim to create space where you can feel supported, seen, and heard. My hope is that you will learn to hold yourself and others in that same type of space. I'll be practicing the whole time alongside you, as Yoga teaches us, we can be learning our whole lives.

"How long are Private Sessions?"
Sessions will run 65-70 minutes. This gives us spacious time for hellos, check ins, and for our practice.
"What can I expect to learn from Private Sessions?"
In addition to learning the incredible tools of yoga and/or meditation, giving yourself this kind of time will teach you to deepen your awareness of your whole Self, and of the world around you. You will strengthen commitment, discipline, and deep compassion for yourself - exactly as you are. When we develop this compassion for ourselves, we learn to treat all beings with the same compassion.
"Do I need to be flexible, super positive, & happy all the time to practice?"
Absolutely, not. You are invited to arrive exactly as you are. In fact, we cannot arrive any other way. Yoga, Meditation, and Mindfulness invite us to meet ourselves right where we are. It is my sincere intention to meet you right where you are. What's most important is that you show up to practice again and again with an open heart and see what unfolds.
"What will I need for sessions?"
Depending on what type of session is designed specifically for you; you may need a yoga mat, a blanket, a few pillows, a towel, yoga blocks/or books, a journal, water, and comfortable clothing to move in.
